I'll Have It My Way

Four Steps to Freedom & Peace

Advance Care Directives are not working. They didn't work for my mom and they're not working today. This is not another form. It is a tool you use to create instructions that will insure you have what you want, not what others might want for you.

I learned by watching my parents die that my health is my responsibility. The choices I make are deeply personal and I've given a lot of thought to how I want the end of my life to play out. While physicians help us focus on our physical well-being, we have to be in charge of our overall well-being.

I hope that this book will help you do just that.

For the PBS family of stations throughout the USA, the book

became the backdrop for a pledge special.  It first aired  in August 2017  for the first time on about 100 stations

throughout the country.

There are several options provided for viewers to join

their local station and receive a free copy of the book,

I'll Have It My Way, plus the book and various videos

related to  the issues around making end of life decisions.
